Commercial activities to resume at Hanauma Bay on Jan. 4, 2023

Entry for licensed motor vehicle carriers, commonly referred to as tour vehicles, and permitted scuba/snorkel guides will once again be allowed in the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve beginning next year.

Maui’s larger community centers to reopen after two year pandemic closure

The Department of Parks and Recreation will reopen its remaining community centers in April and May 2022 following a two year pandemic closure.
