The inaugural Plantation Festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center.

Maui Plantation Festival Being Planned, Meeting Set
The Queen Ka’ahumanu Center is organizing a Plantation Festival to celebrate the sugar industry and its workers. The event comes following Alexander & Baldwin’s announcement earlier this year that it plans to close Maui sugar operations and transition to a diversified agribusiness model instead.
