Gov. David Ige signed a fifth supplementary emergency proclamation relating to the volcanic activity and lava flows in the Puna District of Hawai‘i County.

Governor David Ige signed a third supplementary proclamation relating to the continuing lava flows and volcanic activity at Kīlauea.

Today was declared USS Hawai’i Day in a Proclamation issued by Governor Linda Lingle.  The announcement welcomes the vessel to the islands.  The warship was named after the island state, reinforcing the strategic role our Hawaii plays in the Pacific.
