#produce box

Free produce boxes still available for wildfire impacted residents

Free produce boxes for those impacted by the Aug. 8 wildfires are back thanks to partnerships with Common Ground Collective and Lions Club. Pickup is on Fridays through July 26 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in front of the Pā‘ina Building at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College campus in Kahului.

UH Maui College culinary students pivot from food prep to packing produce

Thursday mornings are particularly busy—and rewarding—for the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College’s culinary arts program purchasing class. Instructor Natasha Joslin and her seven students, along with some campus and community volunteers, pack up 200 boxes of local produce that are distributed later in the day to UH Maui College students and community members affected by the August wildfires.

Take and Delivery Produce Boxes for Sale at Lahaina Business

Many food options are now being offered as Maui adjusts to the emergency rules enacted today by the County of Maui. The business is offering curbside, contact-free delivery (in addition to restaurant take out) of their full menu. Interested customers can call the restaurant at (808) 214-5106 to place their orders.
