Maui-based clothing brand Waiwaolani opens first Oʻahu retail store at Kahala Mall

Waiwaolani, a Maui-based clothing brand inspired by Hawaii’s native ecosystems and cultural connections to the land, expands its footprint with the opening of its first Oʻahu retail location at Kahala Mall. The 1,138-square-foot store occupies the former Fighting Eel space.

Maui businesses and wāhine entrepreneurs participate in Kūkolu’s Indigenous Women’s Incubator Program

In its ongoing efforts to support Native Hawaiian wāhine entrepreneurs across Hawaiʻi, Kūkolu is pleased to announce two new cohorts as part of its Indigenous Women’s Incubator (IWI) program. Through its IWI program, Kūkolu provides Indigenous women entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship, and support they need to grow sustainable businesses, fostering economic empowerment and community resilience.

Maui’s To Be Organics, Farm to Fuge and Waiwaolani chosen for business accelerator program

Mana Up has selected three Maui businesses to join its ninth cohort for the six month accelerator program running from June to November this year. This cohort’s companies from Maui are To Be Organics, Farm to Fudge, and Waiwaolani.
