‘Imua! Readers’ program builds confidence and proficiency among first graders
The goal is to give these students the tools and skills necessary to reach grade level proficiency by the end of the school year, ultimately building confidence and a love of reading.
Maui Hub encourages support of local farmers at Rotary event, Sept. 11
The Rotary Club of Kīhei-Wailea will hear from Maui Hub’s general manager Brandi Sagon, and Autumn Ness, director of the Hawaiʻi Organic Land Management Program of Beyond Pesticides. The two will share information about Maui Hub and the importance of supporting local farmers, the economy and community.

The Rotary Satellite Club of Kīhei-Wailea will be hearing from Joel Navarro with Maui Pono Foundation on Aug. 20 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Tantes in Māʻalaea. Navarro will share about Restoring Lahaina: Maui Pono Foundation’s Journey of Hope and Recovery.
