6 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Mar. 4 to 10, 2012

The incidents were reported in Kaanapali, Kahului, Kula, Makawao, Waiehu, and Wailuku. Vehicles stolen included (1) Honda Civic, (1) Hyundai sedan, (1) Ford Escape, (1) Honda moped, and (1) Ford pickup truck.

9 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Jan. 1 to 7, 2012

There were three incidents in Kihei; two in Kahului; and one incident each in Haiku, Napili, Pukalani and Wailea. Three of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

Maui Council Member’s Vehicle Stolen from Maui Beach Hotel

Maui County Council Member Joe Pontanilla is the latest victim of a vehicle theft on Maui. Pontanilla’s Toyota 4-Runner was stolen from the parking lot of the Maui Beach Hotel on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at around 8:40 p.m.

Vehicles Thefts on Maui Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, 2011

Two of the incidents were reported at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 on different sides of the island: a Toyota Tacoma was stolen from Manino Circle in Kihei; and a Mercedes Monterey was stolen from Lower Waiehu Beach Road in Waiehu. Both vehicles have since been recovered.

A red 2004 Honda 650L Enduro Motorcycle was reported stolen on Maui. The vehicle was last seen at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Paradise Gardens in Kihei. The vehicle license plate number is 839MVH. (Report # PC11038640)

Green Kawasaki Motorcycle Stolen From Kula 7/27/11

A green 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle was reported stolen on Maui. The Model 11 has Pro Taper handle bars and was last seen at a residence on Haleakala Highway in Kula at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. (Report # 11034988)

953MVH Red Honda Motorcycle Stolen From Kula 7/23/11

A Red 2004 Honda PCMC CBR600 Motorcycle was reported stolen over the weekend. The motorcycle has a scorpion sticker on the front fender, no mirrors, and scratches on the left side from being laid down. The vehicle was last seen on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in the garage of a residence on Keokea Place in Kula.
