Ask The Mayor: Why is There Still a Damaged Telephone Pole on Mokulele?

I have noticed there is a leaning telephone pole on Mokulele Highway around Mile Marker 4. Why does it take so long to repair some damaged telephone poles?

Vehicle collides with pole on Baldwin Ave – Road now OPEN

(Update 6 a.m. Thursday 5/6/10) A vehicle collided with a telephone pole overnight causing 3 telephones poles to collapse. Hawaiian Telcom continues to work in the area, however Baldwin Ave is open and police Officers are monitoring traffic.
