Monday Morning Maui Sports: Central East Maui Little Leaguers make history for island as same squad reaches second-straight World Series

The team has won all 10 of its games this summer, at the state and West Region levels, to qualify for the 2025 Intermediate 50/70 World Series in Livermore, Calif., that began Sunday. Central East Maui received a bye and will open play today 1 p.m. HST in the event that runs through Aug. 3.

Kahului Public Library reopens this Tuesday

The Kahului Public Library will reopen on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at noon after a brief closure to renovate the facility’s restrooms. Patrons can browse and borrow, pick up holds, return materials, use the library Wi-Fi, public computers, printer, and copier.
