Sprecklesville fire on Maui burns 2 acres
A brush fire in Sprecklesville Thursday night burned at least 2 acres of state owned land near the Kahului Airport. The fire was first reported at 10:03 p.m. about a half-mile from a nearby residential neighborhood. The Fire Department’s Air One helicopter was dispatched this morning to assist.
