Island Air today announced the addition of Susie Quitevis Fujikawa as the company’s new director of sales. Her prior work includes extensive experience at senior level sales, including previous work at LivingSocial and Travelocity.

A recent survey of Travelocity customers found that the top dream vacation picks for families who travel with children are a vacation in Europe or Hawaii.

Maui ranks in the top five family vacation destinations for summer 2011, according to travel booking giant Travelocity.

The state is seeking $170 million in unpaid hotel occupancy taxes they say is owed by online travel companies that furnish hotel rooms in the state.
