“I am going to put a letter together to the governor that we take the same action as they did for Oʻahu with distance learning for whenever and wherever possible for the first four weeks; and then look at reopening once we get our numbers under control or get some kind of procedures in place,” said Mayor Victorino.

The University of Hawai`i Center offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees via distance learning, giving students the opportunity to stay on island. The workshop will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in Laulima, room 107 at the UH Maui College campus in Kahului.
