500 UPW workers vote to strike in dispute over pay; Maui Health hopes for agreement

Nearly 500 frontline healthcare workers at Kaiser’s Maui Health System have voted to strike in dispute over pay. Maui Health says it continues to negotiate in good faith and hopes to reach an agreement soon.

Four-Year Contract Reached with Public Workers

Consecutive 2% pay raises beginning in October of this year, and thereafter every April 1 and October 1 for the duration of the contract, which runs through June 30, 2017.
