At least one Maui retail giant is serious about complying with proposed federal mandates that companies with more than 100 employees must meet mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
Aug. 5, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 655 Cases, Highest Single Day on Record
The state Department of Health reports that there were 655 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Thursday, the single highest day on record in the state since the pandemic began. The confirmed cases included: 422 on O‘ahu (+6 probable); 121 on Hawai‘i Island (+10 probable); 52 on Maui (+17 probable); seven on Kaua‘i; and 20 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
