11 honored with Women of Excellence awards from Committee on the Status of Women

The 2022 Women of Excellence, “Maui’s Mana Wahine” recipients are: Makena Sunset Kawaialoha Guzman, Valerie Janikowski, Adrianne Heely, Shandell Lehua Kaopio, Gina Gillstrom, P. Denise La Costa, and Luz Medina,M.D. Posthumous awards were issued to: Linda Higgins, Phyllis McOmber, Sarai Stricklin, and Terry Jones.

Maui United Way Strengthens Partnership with Lāna’i

Maui United Way has added Lisa Grove, a Lāna’i resident and active member of the Lāna’i community, to its board of directors. Grove will help strengthen the organization’s partnership with Maui Nui.
