Water conservation continues for West Kuiaha and Awalau areas

The Department of Water Supply is asking those in the West Kuiaha and Awalau areas to continue conserving water because a well is currently out of service. Those in the affected areas may experience low water pressure or water outages while DWS crews work to restore service.

Water Shutdown Planned on West Kuiaha Road, Dec. 15-16

A portion of homes on West Kuiaha Rd. from Kaupakalua Road down through Haʻikū Road will have their water shut-off from approximately 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day.

A Kahului man suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident in Haʻikū on Monday. Maui police have since identified the victim as 64-year-old Dean Line Sr.
