Mariners are being advised to exercise caution due to high seas and windy conditions in island waters.

The resolutions urge the governor and Public Utilities Commission to seek alternatives to the industrial wind generation facilities and inter-island high-voltage undersea electric transmission cable system proposed for the islands of Molokai and Lanai.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Summit of Haleakala above the 6,000 foot elevation, and the island of Lanai.
