Workplace drug testing results by Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc., showed increases in the positivity rate in the four major drug classes from Q3 to Q4 2019.

Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. is reporting no significant changes in the use of amphetamines and cocaine between the second and third quarter of 2019.

The increase in cocaine abuse is significant even though the usage is low in comparison to most of the other drugs. Methamphetamine, or ice use, declined by 22% year over year, but is still at about 0.7%, which is about four times the average ice use found in workforce drug testing on the mainland.
