Two Bodies Found at Hilo Home, Foul Play Not Suspected

Big Island Police continue their investigation into the discovery of two bodies at a home in Hilo. Patrol officers in South Hilo responded to reports of an unresponsive male at the Kilauea Avenue residence before noon on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, police found a man in the lower portion of the home, and the body of a woman in another portion of the residence.
Both victims were pronounced dead after being transported to the Hilo Medical Center.
Detectives do not believe foul play is involved; however the investigation continues pending autopsies to determine the exact causes of death. The deaths have been classified as Coroner’s Inquests.
