Sting performed an intimate concert at the Grand Wailea Resort on Friday night, September 7th, from 8:30-11 p.m.
A source said the event was held on behalf of software company Oracle.
Though the event was private, hundreds of Maui residents and hotel guests flooded the beach access lining the resort to see Sting from outside the barriers.
Security guards monitored the event at beach access points along the Grand Wailea’s grounds as viewers scrambled up the dunes to catch a look at a musical legend.
Sting played hit songs such as “Roxanne” (originally performed by Sting with The Police), “Desert Rose”, and “Message In A Bottle.” The music could be heard clearly from Wailea Beach.
