“We are honored to be recognized for our values and commitment to the Hawaiian culture,” said Mike White, general manager of Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel. “This is a true testament to our team members’ dedication and passion for delivering exceptional customer service to hotel guests. The awards were determined through extensive reader surveys conducted by the magazine. Thousands of local, national and international readers rated everything from the best Hawaiian hotels and resorts, bed-and-breakfasts and inns, beaches and activities. Over 100,000 surveys were tallied to compile the award-winner list, in which the two hotels were awarded for the following rankings.

In addition, the surveys rated Lahaina as the No. 1 Best City or Town, and Maui was deemed the No. 1 Best Island.
