A Small Craft Advisory is posted for the Pailolo and ʻAlenuihāhā channels as well as Māʻalaea Bay through 6 a.m. Saturday. Northeast to east winds up to 25 knots are expected along with seas up to 10 feet. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Looking Ahead
Moderate to locally breezy trade winds will weaken slightly through the weekend, but then speed up again into next week. Clouds and showers will occur mainly along windward slopes. Some drying is likely for the first half of next week, followed by increasing showers again late in the week.

We expect partly sunny skies with scattered morning windward showers. Leeward areas in Maui County are expected to be sunny with only isolated showers. High temperatures from 86° to 91°. East winds are expected from 15 to 20 mph.

Northeast winds are expected this evening from 10 to 20 mph. Low temperatures from 74° to 79°. Partly cloudy skies are expected in the evening with scattered showers for windward spots and isolated showers for leeward areas.
