Soul Kitchen Maui will open for the legendary HAPA at the Kīhei Fourth Friday Town Party on Sept. 25, which will take place between 6 and 9 p.m. at Azeka Shopping Center Mauka.

Soul Kitchen is acoustic-infused musical alchemy, blending and transcending the traditional genres of soul, blues, jazz, classic rock, Cajun zydeco, and Middle Eastern influences. The soaring, soulful vocals of award-winning lead singer Tempa (Best Colorado Blues Band, Best Soul Album Award) and sweetly exotic rhythms of guitarist Naor (Israeli Idol musical finalist) transport listeners to new realms of feeling and musical enjoyment. Impeccable four-part harmonies and inspired interplay among the violins, saxophone, piano, upright bass and Cuban “cajón” drum complete the sublime flavor, making this band a delightful Maui experience for the musical senses.
