Breezy Winds Continue, Sunshine Expected

A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all Maui County waters through 6 a.m. Thursday for northeast winds up to 30 knots and rough seas up to 12 feet.
A High Surf Advisory is posted for the north facing shores of Molokai and Maui through 6 p.m. Thursday. Surf along north facing shores is expected to build to 10 to 15 feet peaking Wednesday morning.

Looking Ahead
Trade winds are forecast to continue with upslope showers expected over windward slopes. Wind speeds will weaken from Friday into Saturday, and then again early next week, as new fronts pass north of the islands.

Today we expect mostly sunny skies with isolated windward and mauka showers. Leeward spots will be mostly clear and sunny. High temperatures from 81° to 86°. Breezy east winds are forecast from 15 to 20 mph.

East winds are expected in the evening from 15 to 20 mph. Low temperatures from 67° to 72°. Partly cloudy skies are forecast with showers for windward and mauka areas.
