Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are overhead today with the best spots topping out around double overhead. Trade swell is also in the mix and making things bumpy.
West: Wrap from the west-northwest swell affecting some western shores today. Spots with the exposure could get up to overhead with occasional sets to double overhead.
South: Wave heights are knee high today or flat.
Our current west-northwest swell is bringing advisory level surf to the north and west sides of Molokai and the north shore of Maui. The swell shifts direction Tuesday and begins to fade from Wednesday through Friday.
Another fun size west-northwest is possible next weekend.
Not much expected from the SPAC. Just background southern hemi surf expected.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
