Looking Ahead
Breezy trade winds are forecast to gradually weaken Friday and become light and variable by Saturday. Clouds and passing showers are expected to favor windward coasts and slopes. A strong low is expected to pass several hundred miles north of the islands on Sunday, bringing the potential for gusty west winds and increased showers as a front moves down the island chain. Light north winds are expected to bring cooler and drier weather through the first half of next week.
Today
Today we expect partly sunny skies with scattered windward and mauka showers and isolated showers in leeward areas. Winds are out of the northeast from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 77° to 82°.
UV index at 8 (“very high” exposure level)
Tonight
Variable winds are expected up to 15 mph until midnight when they become northeasterly around 15 mph. Low temperatures from 67° to 72°. Partly cloudy skies are forecast with scattered windward showers.
