Looking Ahead
Light winds will prevail through the weekend, with breezy trade winds returning early next week. Increasing clouds and showers are expected Saturday with the potential for locally heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms. Light winds Sunday will allow sea breezes to drive afternoon clouds and showers over the islands after a mostly sunny morning. Trade winds will return next week, bringing showers to windward areas.

We expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with showers likely. In the afternoon and evening, locally heavy rainfall is possible with isolated thunderstorms. Areas of haze are also expected. Variable winds from 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures from 81° to 86° and feeling a little warmer due to the light wind conditions and higher humidity levels. On Sunday, a mostly sunny morning is expected with building cloud cover in the afternoon and showers likely for interior and leeward areas during that time.

Variable winds are expected from 5 to 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely. Isolated thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall are possible. As the land breeze develops after the land cools off, clearing is expected. Low temperatures from 67° to 72°. Sunday, windward spots are expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Leeward spots will be partly cloudy with isolated showers as trade winds build back in and bring a return to trade wind weather.
