Looking Ahead
We expect nice weather and light winds until a cold front arrives and moves down the island chain late Saturday through Sunday. A breezy, cool and dry north to northeast wind will fill in behind the front. A stable and somewhat cool and dry trade wind flow is expected early next week. Winds will decrease and shift southerly late Wednesday and Thursday as another front approaches the state by the next weekend.

Partly cloudy skies are expected today with isolated showers. High temperatures from 78° to 83° and feeling a bit warmer due to the heat index. Northeast winds around 10 mph with an afternoon sea breeze. Sunday, mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely. Leeward spots will be partly cloudy with scattered showers. High temps on Sunday drop a bit, running from about 73° to 78° with northeast winds from 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 40 mph in some spots.
