Looking Ahead
Our weather pattern is again expected to change as a front approaches and passes through the state. Clouds and showers are expected along the front reaching Kauai this afternoon and quickly pushing down the islands tonight and Sunday. Behind the front, cool and breezy north to northeast winds will fill in. Windy conditions are forecast for Sunday with breezy trade wind weather through next week.
Today & Sunday
We have variable winds today around 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 79° to 84°. Partly sunny skies are expected in the morning for Maui County with increasing showers and clouds late in the day. On Sunday, mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely in the morning and scattered showers in the afternoon. Windy conditions are forecast from 15 to 30 mph and gusting to 45 mph out of the north and veering to the northeast.

Tonight & Sunday Night
North winds are forecast around 15 to 30 mph tonight, gusting to 40 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely. Low temperatures from 65° to 70° and feeling cooler due to the wind chill. On Sunday, scattered showers are expected with isolated leeward showers. Winds will veer a bit out of the northeast but around the same strength.
