Maui Surf Forecast
North: Surf heights are expected to be knee/waist high today for the best spots catching the trade swell (like Hana) but sloppy.
West: Surf heights are expected to be mainly knee/thigh high today, some spots will be flat.
South: Surf heights are expected to be mainly knee/thigh high today, some spots will be flat.
All shores should remain well below advisory level today. No significant south swells are expected through mid-month. Slightly bigger waves expected for the weekend of the 10th and 11th.
Trade winds are easing so the east swell will ease as a result. Small Craft Advisory conditions are still occurring in some coastal waters.
Nothing expected out of the north either.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
