A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all Maui County channels and Māʻalaea Bay through 6:00 a.m. Thursday. Northeast winds up to 30 knots are forecasted along with rough seas of 6 to 12 feet. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Today
Today high temperatures are expected from 80° to 86° near shore with lower high temperatures at higher elevations (see graphic above). Winds will be out of the east from 15 to 20 mph. We expect mostly sunny skies on the leeward side and partly to mostly cloudy skies for the windward side with morning scattered showers likely.

Tonight
Mostly cloudy in windward and mauka spots with likely showers overnight. Partly cloudy for leeward areas with isolated showers. Low temperatures from 68° to 73°. Trade winds from 15 to 20 mph.
Looking Ahead
Breezy trades are expected to gradually diminish over the next couple of days. Showers should continue to favor windward and mauka areas, especially overnight into early mornings. Some of the larger showers will reach leeward locations at times. Slightly windier trades will return over the weekend.
