UH Maui College’s Pā’ina Market is once again open to the public for lunch
World Plate and Paniolo Grill are now open for lunch and welcoming back the campus community and the Maui community at large to Pā‘ina Market.
UHMC Pā’ina Market offers double the lunch choices this semester
World Plate and Paniolo Grill are both open this semester, doubling the number of lunch options from last semester at UHMC’s Pā‘ina Market. Both of these outlets are run by students in the college’s award-winning culinary arts program.
Maui Hotel & Lodging Association awards $41K in scholarships to Maui students
Maui Hotel & Lodging Association awarded a total of $41,500 in Scholarships to 19 Maui students. Outstanding individuals were awarded through three scholarship programs: the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Hospitality and Culinary Programs; the Academy of Hospitality program, including students and alumni from Baldwin, Lahainaluna, and Maui High Schools; and the MHLA Member Program.
UHMC Culinary Arts Holiday Sweets and Treats Sale
The sale takes place on Monday to Wednesday, Dec. 16 to 18, in the Pā‘ina Building on the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on all three days.

To-date, Whole Foods Market’s Community Support Days have raised more than $100,000 for Maui nonprofits. Island culinary students are the recipients of a $977.24 check from a Recycle Your Change fund drive at Whole Foods Maui.
