The Olowalu Cultural Reserve, a non-profit organization, invites you to participate in a volunteer work day to remove non-native plant species in the reserve on lands leased from developer Peter Martin’s Olowalu Elua project. Please meet at the Wailuku end of the Olowalu Store and bring along a lunch, gloves, and other field work tools. Please join us.Awalua Cemetery, historic burials, Pu’u Kilea, petroglyphs, Kapaiki Village, the historic Olowalu Church, the Olowalu General Store, Olowalu Wharf, and the old Olowalu Sugar Mill.

Location Details: The current Olowalu Cultural Reserve is approximately 75 acres. Olowalu area contains many significant archaeological sites and historical features including Ka’iwaloa (Kawailoa) heiau,
