VIP Foodservice’s Cash n’ Carry store in Kahului re-opens as Cash n’ Carry Warehouse this week. The results of a six-month store renovation and transformation will be unveiled at a grand re-opening celebration this Friday, June 11, 2010 starting at 9 a.m.
The remodeled warehouse features expanded offerings of more than 200 new items, with more Hawaii-made products, as well as natural and organic selections. The Cash n’ Carry Warehouse will also unveil new fresh meat, cheese and produce departments.
Friday’s re-opening features activities and product-sampling from a variety of local companies including: Meadow Gold Dairy, Paradise Beverage, Maui Coffee Roasters, Maui Cattle Company, Maui Delight, Elaine’s Crab Cakes, and more.
The kick-off event also features a reusable shopping bag filled with coupons and goodies for the first 500 customers who make a purchase of $20.00 or more.
“The upgrade of our Cash n’ Carry Warehouse store reflects our commitment to bringing customers the local and nationally branded products they need at a value, while maintaining our Aloha spirit,” said Steve Smith, Vice President of the store’s purchasing division.
The store has also begun to rollout a new company logo. Reflecting traditional Maui roots and values, the friendly and easy-to-read logo shares the company’s philosophy- “Better Value for Your Ohana”.
Portions of the new store are already completed and Cash n’ Carry Warehouse will continue to unveil new areas daily. Cash n’ Carry first opened on Maui in 1986 and is located at 90 Amala Place in Kahului.
