Wet Weather on Maui expected Tonight thru Friday
The wet weather that is currently affecting Kauai and Oahu, is expected to continue its path westward over the state. Impact from the unstable air mass is expected to begin over Maui tonight into tomorrow.
A Flood Watch goes into effect at 6 p.m. for Maui and continued through late Friday night. The wet weather is the result of an unstable air mass coupled with low level moisture. Forecasters say that combination increases the potential for flooding, locally heavy rain fall and thunderstorms, starting this evening.
