Eggtastic Easter Weekend Events and Entertainment

Candy eggs, chocolate bunnies, yellow chicks made of marshmallows, and frighteningly large bipedal bunny people walking around…must mean its Easter. Whether you’re celebrating with your congregation, family, friends, or going solo, here’s a list of places and times to participate in the events of a sunny Easter weekend.
Saturday April 23, 2011:
5A Rent A Space in Lahaina will hold a Keiki Easter Day with an egg hunt for children up to 10 years of age. Free goodie bags will be available for kids from 11-14 years old. Free photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts and food will also be available. This free event will take place at 3600 L Honoapiilani Road. 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt
Maui Mall in Kahului brings free festive fun to keiki with:
- 9:30 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt
- 10:00 a.m. Artie Parti
- 11:00 a.m. Water Games and Hula Hoop Contest
- 12 noon Jolie the Clown
- 1:00 p.m. Na Pua Melia
Makawao Easter Egg Hunt, at Makawao Rodeo Grounds on Olinda Road
This is the first annual Makawao Easter Egg Hunt, for children 10 and under. This event is co-sponsored by the Makawao Community Association and Maui Roping, Inc. Prizes will also be awarded. Free

The largest Easter egg hunt on Maui: 15,000 eggs will drop from a helicopter at the War Memorial Stadium. This free event is through the Awakening Church. Food, music, photos with the Easter bunny, prizes, candy, and church services, will be available throughout the day. For more information visit, www.awakeningonline.org.
