Halie Loren CD After Dark

International Jazz-pop star Halie Loren, performs at Stella Blues on June 16, for a night of spine tickling, pleasing lyrical play, with drinks and dinner made readily available. Loren has been busy performing on Oahu before making the hop and skip to Maui this week.

Accompanying this vocalist will be Gene Argel on piano, Marcus Johnson on bass, and special guest Tom Conway on guitar. Loren’s debut album was released in 2006, since then this songbird has been busy recording, performing and promoting her music and additional albums. Her latest CD titled After Dark, was released in 2010, and features classics such as: “La Vie En Rose,” and “Bye, Bye Blackbird.”

Stella Blues offers patrons food and drink from their full dinner menu, wine and cocktail list. Martinis and specialty drinks are $8.50, beers run from $3.50 to $6.00. If you’re feeling hungry, Stellas has pasta, pizza, burgers, pork chops, veal, steak, meatloaf, seafood dishes and more. Entrees are priced at $12 to approximately $28.
