Music Meets Multimedia With Art and Dance

Ebb & Flow Arts, Inc. present multimedia entertainment with three events on Maui, June 20 through July 23. Artists, musicians, and dancers will debut brand new compositions, pieces, and visual art in chamber concerts and multimedia events.
On June 24, at 7:30 p.m. Seabury Hall Performing Arts Center in Makawao, will host the Multimedia Marathon by the Ebb & Flow Media Group with compositions from special guest Emil Richards. There will be painting in real-time with music and multimedia experiments with audience participation. Music will include pieces that highlight the vibraphone, percussion woodwinds and bass. Dance will also be incorporated in this event. Admission is free.
Then on Saturday July 9, at 7:30 p.m., Duo Diorama will be hosted at the Seabury Hall Performing Arts Center and include performances by MingHuan Xu on violin and Winston Choi on piano. This night will also include visual and/or performance art. Admission is free, and a pre-concert discussion begins at 6:30 p.m.
On July 16, at 7:30 p.m., the Maui Music Conservatory will have a battle of pianos on the second floor of Queen Ka’ahumanu Mall in Kahului. Robert Pollock, Beatrice Scorby, Winston Choi, Peiling Lin, and Karryn Sarring will perform pieces for one to four pianos. A very special composition will feature eight pianists on four pianos.
