Maui Group Seeks Return of Stolen Computers

Two computers were stolen from offices located at the Old Maui High School over the 4th of July holiday weekend.

County Communications Director Rod Antone said the computers were taken from the Keep Hawaiian Islands Beautiful offices on the morning of July 4, 2011.

Jan Dapitan, a state leader with the KHIB said the computers contained “invaluable” information about the group’s upcoming statewide conference that will be held at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center next month.

Leaders with the Keep Hawaiian Islands Beautiful offices have issued a public plea, seeking a return of the computers, no questions asked.
