Kevin Yim to Lead Advertising at Hawaiian Airlines

Kevin B. Yim has been appointed to the position of director of advertising and promotion by Hawaiian Airlines.
“Hawaiian is growing into new markets and Kevin’s expertise in advertising and promotions will help us attract new customers to our airline and to Hawaii as a destination,” said Avi Mannis, Hawaiian’s vice president of marketing, in a written statement. “He has overseen numerous high-profile and successful promotional campaigns during his career and we welcome the energy and insight he is bringing to Hawaiian.”
Yim will report to Mannis and his responsibilities will be in developing Hawaiian’s advertising and promotions strategy across its network, and in overseeing coordinated marketing campaigns in a variety of print, broadcast and online media.
Most recently, Yim served as vice president of brand, advertising and promotions at the Bank of Hawaii, and has 17 years of marketing experience in Hawaii. He began his marketing career at radio station KIKI-FM in Honolulu, where he handled sales and promotions for three years. Yim also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing from the University of San Francisco. He is also a graduate from Kamehameha Schools.
