Benefits of New Maui Health-Food Bar

Locally-based company Maui Peace Organics, Inc. has recently created a new type of healthy meal-replacement superfood bar for athletes – the Maui Extreme Sportsynergy Bar.

The original Maui Peace Bars and Maui Extreme Sportsynergy Bars both contain at least 50 different ingredients that support healthy digestion, energy, wellness, and nutrition.

One of the featured and unexpected ingredients in the bars is seaweed – 8 different types – included not for flavor, but for nutritional benefits.

The natural flavor of the bar is not overpowered by any one of the ingredients like seaweed. Much like a juice blended with both fruits and vegetables creates a surprisingly even blend of fresh and sweet, the Maui Peace bars are a hybrid of good tastes with no particular distinction.

The energy in the Maui Extreme Sportsynergy Bar comes from Kona Red, a Hawaiian super fruit antioxidant from Kona. The juice of Kona Red comes from the bright red fruit of the coffee plant surrounding the bean. Without caffeine, the coffee plant’s natural energy and antioxidant-boosting properties create long-lasting energy  that is neither frantic nor draining when the Kona Red has finished been processed by the body.

Maui Extreme Bars also contain over 780,00 ORAC values per serving in one bar. ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) units are a measurement for antioxidants developed by the National Institute on Aging in the National Institute of Health.

Athletes love it too. About three weeks ago we launched the Maui Extreme Bar Marathon and the woman who won it broke the coarse record, a Maui girl who is now in training for the Olympics in Oregon.
