8 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Dec. 11 to 17, 2011

There were eight vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between December 11 and 17, 2011.
There were three incidents Kahului, two in Wailuku, and individual incidents in Kihei, Lahaina, and Makawao.
Three of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered.
The types of vehicles taken included three Ford vehicles including a Ranger, a Taurus, and a Mustang. Also stolen were the following: Yamaha moped, Harley Davidson motorcycle, 14-foot boat, Hyundai Sonata, and Saturn wagon.

Kahului:
- Tuesday, 12/13/11, 5:30 p.m.: Dairy Road at the Maui Marketplace fronting Lowe’s. 2001 Blue Ford Ranger. License #: MHA390.
- Tuesday, 12/13/11, 8 p.m.: South Papa Avenue. Blue/White Yamaha moped.
- Saturday, 12/17/11, 1:03 p.m.: Kane Street at Foodland. 2011 Blue Ford Taurus. RECOVERED.
Kihei:
- Sunday, 12/11/11, 3 p.m.: South Kihei Road between Days Inn and the Mana Kai Resort. 2010 Blue Ford Mustang. Licence #: LBF474.
Lahaina:
- Saturday, 12/17/11, 1 p.m.: Wharf Street at the Lahaina Harbor. Blue 14-foot boat. RECOVERED.
Makawao:
- Tuesday, 12/13/11, 10:26 a.m.: Keleawe Street. 2002 Blue Harley Davidson motorcycle. License #: 692XGP.
Wailuku:
- Tuesday, 12/13/11, 6:30 a.m.: Lower Main Street at the Nani Street Apartments parking lot. 1999 White Hyundai Sonata. RECOVERED.
- Thursday, 12/15/11, 8 p.m.: Meakanu Lane. 2001 Brown Saturn wagon. License #: JJN107.
