2012 Maui Real Property Assessment Notices Mailed

Real Property Assessment notices for 2012 are now in the mail.
The assessment notice shows the taxable value of the land and improvements, the amount of allowed exemptions, the person who received the exemption, and the classification assigned to the property.

To contest the assessment, property owners can file an appeal with the Board of Review by April 9, 2012.
The notice is not a bill. The first half of the installment for the 2012-2013 fiscal year will be mailed on or before July 20th.
