Man Injured in Molokai Jeep Roll-Over

A 36-year-old man was Medivaced from Molokai this afternoon following a single vehicle accident west of Kaunakakai, according to authorities.

The Jeep involved in the crash rolled over during the accident, pinning the man beneath, according MCPA spokesperson, Ryan Joslin. 

Molokai Fire units and Medic 8 assisted in the initial extrication and treatment of the patient. 

Medics from the Maui County Paramedic Association say the man sustained head and chest injuries and received advance care during the 30 minute flight to the Maui Memorial Medical Center.
