Man Wanted For Questioning in Sail Theft at Maalaea Harbor

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating Angel Augusto, 32, wanted for questioning regarding the theft of sails from a vehicle at Maalaea Harbor.

Augusto is approximately 5’8” tall, 180 lbs, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities are asking anyone with information concerning the location of Augusto to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.

Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.

The public should consider all wanted persons as dangerous and should not approach, follow or take other action that could put themselves in danger.

The public is reminded that the information provided by authorities is merely an accusation, and all parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
