Waikapu Roll-Over Accident Sparks Cane Fire

Motorists in Central Maui are advised of a slow-down in traffic on the Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) in Waikapu due to a motor vehicle accident with minor injuries.
Authorities say the vehicle rolled over and started a cane fire.

The incident was reported at around 1:45 p.m. and resulted in a brief impact to traffic on the Honoapiilani Highway between the Kuihelani Highway and the Kamehameha Golf Course.
Crews are on scene. Motorists can expect a delay in their commute while crews conduct mop-up operations.
