Kahoolawe Permitted Trolling Information Sessions Planned

The Kaho’olawe Island Reserve Commission (KIRC) will host three “talk story” sessions for registered permitted trollers and the interested public.

The sessions are hosted by KIRC’s Ocean Resources Program. Permitted trolling catch reports and current issues of the Kaho’olawe Island Reserve will be discussed. A question and answer session will follow.

The permitted trolling schedule, trolling right of entry registration packet, including catch report form and a map of the catch report area, can be found on the KIRC website at http://kahoolawe.hawaii.gov/announce.shtml

“Talk Story” informational sessions will be held at the Lihikai Elementary School cafeteria in Kahului on:

  • November 9 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • December 7 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • January 18 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
