10 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Nov. 18 to 24, 2012

There were a total of 10 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between November 18 and 24, 2012.

The incidents include two incidents each in Kahului and Kihei, and isolated incidents in Kaluakoi, Kula, Lahaina, Makawao, Pukalani and Wailuku.

Four of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Kahului:

• Sunday, November 18, 2012, 3 a.m.:  Ka`ahumanu Avenue at Hoaloha Park.  1998 White Ford Aerostar.  License: CG485 VIN: 2FMZA51U0WBC97129.  RECOVERED.
• Saturday, November 24, 2012, 10 a.m.:  Kuihelani Highway at Puunene Avenue.  2006 Silver Dodge Durango.  License: MSY264.  VIN: 1D4HD38K06F143165. RECOVERED.

Kaluakoi:

• Saturday, November 24, 2012, 12:48 p.m.:  Kaluakoi Cottage Parking Lot.  2011 Silver Dodge Caliber.  Lic: LCE441. VIN: 1B3CB5HA8BD293936.  RECOVERED.

Kihei:

• Monday, November 19, 2012, 3 p.m.: Uwapo Road at the Kihei Villages.  1989 Black Honda Motorcycle XR250R 2500CC.
• Saturday, November 24, 2012, 7 p.m.:  Konou Place.  Blue Longjia Moped.  VIN: L4HGTEBP966002483.

Kula:

• Thursday, November 22, 2012, 11 p.m.:  Ohelo Place.  2010 Red and Black Honda Moped.  VIN: LWBJF1903A1003911.

Lahaina:

• Wednesday, November 21, 2012, 9 p.m.:  Ipu Aumakua Lane at Na Hale O Waine`e.  1997 White Ford Escape.  Lic: MCS291.  VIN: 1FALP13P0VW257385.  RECOVERED.

Makawao:

• Monday, November 19, 2012, 7:30 a.m.:  Makani Road.  2004 White and Orange KTM Motorbike.

Pukalani:

• Friday, November 23, 2012, 8 p.m.:  Loha Street.  1997 Silver Honda Civic.  Lic: MKU065.

Wailuku:

• Saturday, November 24, 3012, 4 p.m.:  Momi Place near carport area.  2003 Black Honda Ruckus Moped.  VIN: JH2AF58023K004006.
