November Home Sales Decline, But Prices Up

November’s single family home sales on Maui declined from October’s 5-year-high (99) to 84 homes sold, while condominium sales held steady at 96 units sold, according to figures released today by the Realtors Association of Maui.

A bright spot was seen as land sales rose to 22 lots sold in November 2012 from 9 lots sold in October 2012.

The residential home median price declined slightly to $467,500 in November, while the condominium median price increased again to $390,945. Land median price rose to $455,000.

One year ago, in the month of November 2011, the median sales price for a single family home was $422,500, while condominium median price was $265,00, and land median price was $505,000.
