There were a total of 24 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between January 20 to 26, 2013.

The cases include (12) incidents in Kihei, (5) incidents in Kahului, (3) incidents in Wailuku, and (1) incident each in Haiku, Lahaina, Makawao and Waiehu.

Haiku:

  • Friday, January 25, 2013, 2 p.m.:  Haiku road at the Haiku Cannery.  2011 Green SYM USA or Sanyang motorcycle or Sanyang Industry moped.

Kahului:

  • Sunday, January 20, 2013, 5 a.m.:  East Kaahumanu Avenue at the Maui Mall.  32011 Blue Kaitong motorcycle/moped.  RECOVERED.
  • Monday, January 21, 2013, 8:30 p.m.:  Kaahumanu Avenue at the Kaahumanu Center.  Black and Silver moped.
  • Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 5:15 a.m.:  Kaahumanu Avenue at UHMC. 2011 Black and Red Jonway Group moped.  VIN#: L8YTCAPD8BY050414
  • Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 11:06 p.m.:  Holua Drive.  Purple CPI USA moped.  RECOVERED.
